Destinations:

Cochin - Periyar - Mararikulam- Cochin

Day 01 - Arrival at Cochin:

Cochin - Periyar - Mararikulam- Cochin Once you arrive in Cochin, you will be warmly received and shifted to Casino Hotel at Willington Island. Check in at the hotel and relish the experience of a Harbor cruise later in the evening. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 02 - Cochin:

Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning, and follow it up with a visit to the Spice and Fish market. Later in the afternoon, you will be introduced to Indian Cooking with demonstration and practical experience at cooking a range of Indian Seafood Dishes. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 - Cochin to Periyar:

After completion of breakfast, we will drive to Periyar, a picturesque landscape in the shade of the Cardamom hills, adorned with beautiful winding roads, tea gardens, rubber estates and spice plantations. Check in at Spice Village. Mid-afternoon, enjoy a memorable boat safari in the Periyar Lake at the heart of the Periyar National Park. This charming journey past mist-clad mountains, spice plantations and open grasslands decked with captivating waterfalls is truly an unforgettable one. Return to experience a live demonstration of cooking with traditional spices.

Day 04 - Periyar:

After breakfast, the Hotel Staff will accompany you to a walking tour of the Spice Village, where you will be introduced to traditional spices. You will actually see spices being grown in their natural habitat. An ideal opportunity for you to learn the steps to prepare some authentic Kerala dishes.

Day 05 - Periyar to Kumarakom:

Gorge upon an appetizing breakfast, then drive to Kumarakom on the banks of Lake Vembanad and take a boat ride to Coconut Lagoon, an eco-friendly resort created out of Old Kerala homes called Tharawad. Be amused by the live demonstration of Conquering the Coconut from plucking, de-husking, breaking, grating and eventually using the grated coconut. Follow it up with a sunset cruise on a Rice Boat. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 06 - Kumarakom:

Post-breakfast, take a cruise for a farm visit and if fortunate, you might watch the locals fishing. Later in the afternoon there will be Live, hands-on lessons on preparing Kerala Seafood dishes. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 - Kumarakom to Mararikulam:

Enjoy a palatable breakfast, and then you will be taken across Lake Vembanad by boat to Puthenangadi, from where we will drive to Marari Beach. Spend the day relaxing at the beach resort.

Day 08 - Mararikulam to Cochin departure:

Time to say adieu! We will drive to the airport and help you with all check-in formalities.
